Since wide plank flooring has the tendency to cup or crown, we have installed at least two metal reinforcement bars inset into the bottom of each plank (even more for longer planks). This increases the stability of our wood flooring and creates long lasting beauty and use.

Our wide plank flooring is made from Royal Mahogany. This unique species of wood is ideal for flooring use, due to its striking resemblance to genuine Honduran Mahogany and its superior hardness. Because it is an oily wood, just like Honduran Mahogany, the expansion and contraction will be minimal. Compare this feature to Santos Mahogany, which is a sapwood and will contain the properties that lead to contraction and expansion. Royal Mahogany is used in upscale locations both residentially and commercially wherever the look of true Honduran mahogany is desired but superior hardness is required.
