Our specialty line of front-entry doors is made like classic mahogany furniture… one at a time. To ensure the security needs of our client’s high-value homes and buildings, we choose to exceed the industry standard for door thickness by a full half-inch. Borano doors boast a superior standard of a 2-1/4 inch thickness with 1-3/4 inch jambs. Whether our doors are gracing a classic country home in Boston, an oceanfront mansion in West Palm Beach, a mountain retreat in Aspen, or an urban loft in Washington D.C., Borano doors are built to endure any climate and withstand the test of time.

Our Commitment 
The commitment to our Mission begins by using only Genuine Mahogany. We never use inferior imitations like Philippine, Indonesian, African, or White Mahogany, which are falsely marketed in the United States as the same quality woods. These mahogany impostors are lighter, brittle, and prone to chipping and warping. Only rainforest grown Mahogany possesses a strong, dense composition with a straight grain and fine texture. Its warm reddish tone deepens with age to a rich reddish-brown, making it suitable for a wide range of stains and finishes.
